Samaritan Welcomes Austin Loranger, MD September 17, 2022 Play Video Austin Loranger, MD, has joined Samaritan Medical Group Pulmonology – Corvallis where he specializes in treating respiratory conditions. He is also an intensivist at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, caring for critically ill and injured patients. Dr. Loranger earned a bachelor’s degree at University of Oregon and a medical degree at Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed residency training and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Creighton University School of Medicine. Dr. Loranger likes helping people and pulmonology matched his clinical interests. “I’ve always been fascinated with the function of the human body, particularly the lungs. It’s one of the most important organs in the body,” he said. Dr. Loranger speaks clearly and honestly with his patients and their families.
