Minimally Invasive Treatments for Maximizing Prostate Health

Based on your individual needs, Samaritan Urology offers minimally invasive treatment options for individuals who may be navigating an enlarged prostate or have been diagnosed with prostate cancer.

Enlarged Prostate

Rezum Therapy and the UroLift System help to treat BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia). These techniques are alternatives to drug therapy or more invasive surgery.

Rezum uses natural water vapor to reduce the size of the prostate and provide lasting symptom relief without invasive surgery or some of the potential side effects of prescription drugs.

UroLift is a straightforward procedure that utilizes tiny implants to lift and hold the enlarged prostate tissue out of the way so it no longer blocks the urethra. There is no cutting, heating or removal of prostate tissue.

Prostate Cancer

SpaceOAR Hyrdogel is an innovative technology available to eligible patients with prostate cancer.

SpaceOAR Hydrogel is an absorbable gel that temporarily creates space between the prostate and rectum. It is designed to reduce the radiation dose delivered to the rectum during prostate radiation therapy.

By reducing radiation exposure to healthy organs, patients have a lower chance of rectal complications later on.
