For many years, Samaritan Health Services has partnered with other local nonprofits to address the unmet health and medical needs of underserved populations, through its Social Accountability grants.
For the current cycle of grant funding, to be disbursed in 2026, Samaritan has awarded $200,000 to support nonprofit organizations in Benton, Lincoln and Linn counties.
“The Social Accountability funding reflects an important extension of our health care mission,” said Marty Cahill, president and CEO of Samaritan Health Services.
“We are pleased to provide this support for local organizations to assist with their health-related programs and services,” Cahill continued. “These partnerships represent an important component in Samaritan’s mission of building healthier communities together.”
Local nonprofit agencies that are dedicated to improving community health and well-being are invited to apply for Social Accountability grant funding from Samaritan Health Services. Applications will be accepted Monday, July 20, through Friday, Aug. 21.
Applicants are encouraged to attend a virtual information session on Monday, July 27, at 10 a.m.SHS Social Accountability Grant Information Session | Meeting-Join | Microsoft Teams
