SUMMARY:Resilience & Self-care for Caregivers
DESCRIPTION:This six-week course is designed to address specific challenges of the caregiving role in a supportive and fun group setting. Samaritan Evergreen Hospice has partnered with Insight Journeys\, LLC to offer a safe and empowering mind-body medicine skills group where you can learn skills to help manage the responsibilities you carry. Each session is led by Anna Looney\, a certified CMBM facilitator. \nAll course dates: \n\nFriday\, April 12.\nFriday\, April 19.\nFriday\, April 26.\nFriday\, May 3.\nFriday\, May 10.\nFriday May 17.\n\nAs a caregiver for a loved one who is at the end of life\, it’s essential to also take care of yourself. Anyone supporting a vulnerable family member or friend is encouraged to participate. Each session will focus on proven self-care techniques to reduce tensions and fatigue and increase resilience. \nSpace is limited and registration is required.
