SUMMARY:Miscarriage & Stillbirth Memorial Service
DESCRIPTION:Willamette Memorial Park Cemetery and Samaritan Albany General Hospital have partnered together for over 30 years to hold a memorial burial service for miscarried or stillborn babies. \nThe cemetery has set aside a circle of land for burial of babies who have died before birth\, no matter how early in pregnancy. The park memorializes these babies with a year marker to identify the area where the ground was opened for burial of cremated remains and/or mementos. The baby’s name will be recorded in a memorial book that is kept at the park. \nAll families are welcome. This is not limited to Samaritan Health Services patients.
