DESCRIPTION:Free head and neck cancer screening! \nDid you know tobacco\, alcohol and HPV can raise your risk of head and neck cancer? But don’t worry\, early screenings make a big difference! \nOur friendly dental pros will do a quick\, painless checkup. If anything needs follow-up\, they’ll guide you right away. \nTake a few minutes to screen for head and neck cancer.\n\nWho: Adults 18 years of age or older.\nWhen: Monday\, Aug. 18\, from 9 a.m. to noon.\nWhere: Boys & Girls Club of Albany\, 1215 Hill St. SE\, Albany\nCost: Free!\n\nTo schedule your spot\, contact: Samaritan Cancer Resource Center at 541-768-2171\, 541-812-5888 or CancerResourceCenter@samhealth.org. \nWalk-ins are welcome but appointments are encouraged. \nThis event is organized by the Samaritan Cancer Resource Center\, in collaboration with the Boys & Girls Club of Albany and Mid-Valley ENT & Allergy. \nIn addition\, the Boys &Girls Club of Albany will also have their Tooth Taxi on site for anyone who wishes to bring children for dental treatment\, ages 5 to 18 years.
