DESCRIPTION:This 3-day course helps expectant parents prepare for childbirth and early parenting. \nAll course dates: \n\nMarch 23\nMarch 24\nMarch 25\n\nUsing the Injoy program\, topics include: \n\nWhat to expect during pregnancy\, labor and childbirth.\nMedicated and non-medicated comfort measures.\nMedical interventions associated with complications.\nCesarean birth.\nCare of the birthing parent and infant during the first hours\, days and weeks postpartum.\nBreastfeeding.\nA tour of the birthing center will be offered after the final class.\n\nThis class is for expectant parents in the third trimester.
